Similar to Cape Charles, Onancock pursued and won certification from the Virginia Main Street program and with it earned grant funding for brand development.
Otto was enlisted to build an integrated marketing campaign for the destination.
Our approach mirrored that of Cape Charles. We reviewed primary and secondary research, interviewed a cross section of key influencers, facilitated a marketing charrette and from this process developed the town’s brand architecture model. This inturn informed creative development including a new brand logo and tagline, advertising, signage and web site which is in development.
